Innovation Workshop

The workshop will bring sustainable innovation alive. Samples of the ‘Sustainable Materials’ exhibition will serve as a source of inspiration. Based on these materials, new samples, ideas and strategies will be developed to design, build and sell in a sustainable fashion. Coherent concepts will be developed during the Innovation Workshop.

Lead by materials and innovation specialists Material ConneXion Cologne, small teams will develop new ways of thinking and acting, transforming ideas into tangible product concepts. The Innovation Workshop is equally supported by a specialist in sustainable resources: The Nova-Institute, Hürth, Germany.

Exhibition on Sustainable Materials

This exhibition shows the latest on new materials for sustainable product and fashion design. No ‘ready-mades’ nor ‘easy wins’ but rather a selection from various fields as natural fibers, recycled materials and biopolymers. Applications and transformation processes on show demonstrate the immense new potential.
