Patagonia is awarded the "EcoBrand of the year" award 2008.

Since 1984, Patagonia has been actively saving the environment by attributing one percent of the company’s annual profit to natural preservation and re-naturalization.

And they have not stopped their activities and are reducing their ecological footprint year by year.

"Don't dream of a change ... just start with it"

 This workshop with Fritz Lietsch demonstrated the necessity for the sporting goods industry to adjust their corporate policy to sustainability, because sustainability is the quest for the next decade. Fritz Lietsch discussed with all the participants what can be done to take this initiative forward.

Stefano Natoli from Nike;
Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder from Apple and
Peter Brockhaus, CEO from Level One.
At the 2006 VOLVO SportsDesign FORUM Robby Naish, Colin Baden from Oakley, Erik Spiekermann and many more were diskussing about active safety in the sporting goods industry.
