Zimtstern
DLX Cosmo
design: Katja Haefeli, Product Managment: Dominik Fuss
product description
Zimtstern emphasizes a targeted development process for environmentally friendly product manufacturing. For winter 2008/09, the Swiss label will launch technical outerwear that complies with the principles of sustainability.
To realize this vision, Zimtstern cooperated with Switzerland-based bluesign technology AG for the DLX line. The bluesign standard is an independent international quality standard focusing on environmental, health and safety standards.
The clothing line’s entire supply chain is organised with as little pollution and waste of resources as possible. The firm sources both fabrics and prints for the DLX line from European companies. A water - resistant three-layer laminate (20,000 mm water resistance) features Nanosphere as well as a breathable change membrane that functions according to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Schoeller® dynatech outer shell is a
functional and durable high-tech fabric with a great visual appearance.
Developed and designed for high-tech functional textiles, this system offers the ultimate in functionality and design — and is best for Mother Nature, too.
