Quantya
Quantya FMX
design: Claudio Dick
retail price: 7050 Euro
product description
The Quantya dirt bike allows fun and action with zero emissions. Kom Enterprise provides the first electric dirt bike with lithium polymer battery technology, making 2.5 hours of riding time possible with a charge time of just two hours. The Quantya is a fun bike for motocross, cross country, freestyle, fmx, freeriding or trail.
Kom Enterprise supplies dealers in Germany and Austria, and they also install places for riding, called Quantyaparks. It’s an attempt to get the rider off the natural trails and into an area made for especially motocross, thus minimizing damage to the environment. You can rent Quantyas to have fun and to get to know the product, or you can ride your own Quantya in the parks.
Kom Enterprise is planning to build 75 such parks in Germany and Austria; every dealer who wants to sell the Quantya will have to serve his customers with a Quantyapark, where they are also planning to install photovoltaic stations to ‘feed’ the bikes with the power of the sun. Kom Enterprise also provides a model with street-legal components, so customers can enjoy their electric ride in the city too.
