While studying architecture in the early 1980s, Reinhard began developing windsurfing equipment for F2 and designed sails for future 12-time world champion Björn Dunkerbeck.
Later, he developed various products for snowboarding, yachting, skiing, inline skating and mountain biking. He holds numerous patents, and participated on various design and advertising juries and is the head judge of the BrandNew Awards.
