The winners of the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD 2008 will be announced at the award ceremony on January 29th 2008 and presented with the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD.
The award ceremony is directly after the 7th VOLVO SportsDesign FORUM in Munich, Germany. It is the highlight of the competition, with an exclusive audience of special guests from the design industry, sports industry and media.
VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD at ispo 08
The VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD will place for the 4th time on January 29th 2008. The award has established itself as one of the most sought-after awards within industry, design and amongst students.
An international jury consisting of design and ecology experts has choosen the eco-friendliest products in the six industry categories and the student categories.
EcoDesign is a new and difficult topic in the sports industry. Thus we were surprised to receive such a high number of applications. All together the jury members have judged 180 products.
The winners of each category will receive the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD at the award ceremony during the VOLVO SportsDesign FORUM 08 in Munich.

All nominated products will be showcased at the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD Exhibition.
This exhibition will take place at ispo winter 08, the world‘s largest sports trade show, in Munich, Germany (January 27 - 30). More than 50,000 members of the professional sports community – industry, importers, distributors, retailers, journalists and professional athletes – are expected.
