The winners of the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD 2008 has been announced at the award ceremony on January 29th 2008 and presented with the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD.

The award ceremony was directly after the 7th VOLVO SportsDesign FORUM in Munich, Germany. It is always the highlight of the competition, with an exclusive audience of special guests from the design industry, sports industry and media.

All nominated products will be showcased at the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD Exhibition.

This exhibition will take place at ispo winter '08, the world‘s largest sports trade show, in Munich, Germany (January 27 - 30). More than 50,000 members of the professional sports community – industry, importers, distributors, retailers, journalists and professional athletes – are expected.

Furthermore we are planning to present all nominated products during the Beijing Olympics 2008 in Beijing in effort to present exhibit excellent sports products to a wider public. More information will be coming soon.

All nominated products and winners of the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD will be given detailed coverage (illustrations, photos and text) in the VOLVO

SportsDesign AWARD Yearbook 2008.

For the first time, this book will cover the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD and also the VOLVO SportsDesign FORUM with a stong focus on EcoDesign. This book will be available in April 2008 in bookshops.

The strong connection of the VOLVO SportsDesign website to the ispo exhibition website makes it a frequently visited platform.

All nominees and winners of the VOLVO SportsDesign AWARD will  be presented on a separate page with photos and detailed description.

All nominees and winners will be mentioned in a series of PR and marketing ´activities. Furthermore the winner of each category will receive a press release on their company and product.
